UNIQUE  GENUINE PIECES OF THE BERLIN WALL from the Wall MOUNTED IN  WOODEN DISPLAY FRAME with Glass with German Signed COA on the rear stating that these pieces  from the Wall located in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on 07.01.1990 – most unusual item .

At the time of the fall of the Wall in late 1989 many local Berliners took to to chipping pieces of the wall out as pieces of memorabilia for themselves and were known as “Mauerspechte” or Woodpeckers! This lovely item came from one of these people who transformed his collection into this incredible piece

Frame measures 18 cm across x 23 cm heigh , 9 pieces of the wall measure approximately between 3 cm X 4 cm and 2 cm x 1 cm each .

From the Concrete composition which was unique to the Berlin Wall ,we know this item is Genuine – the Berlin wall was built from a crystalline concrete structure – containing a lot of quartz and lime by which the Berlin Wall can be effectively “fingerprinted”
